DATE WATCHED.

Why the hell did you change the way you enter what date you watched a movie for. The new takes way too long. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

All steps, web, iOS ,. That is really bad as default should be better if that was the second step , first date and time if you know you saw something just before, then you could be able to use the new way

This is slower for me in Web App and on the Android

Prior to this slot picker being added

1 Select watched at other date

2 Select the Date, followed by the time

    Using the slot picker

1 Select watched at other date

2 find the time slot of when I watched it (lots of scrolling if something you missed from the past)

3 Select to edit the date/time, the time needs amending for all entries

4 Enter correct date/time as in 2nd step before this feature was added

So we have gone from a 2 step feature to mark as watched to a 4 step feature

If you could edit the date/time to anything you wanted it would make it easier, currently it is restricted to only be allowed in the range of the slot you picked

It’s so confusing now, having to select a spot within your recent watches and having the default date set that way. I literally just had a problem where my last watch was the day before, then I watched a movie and went into add the watch, and the default date was the day before, and I didn’t notice that, so the watch time I put in was off by 24 hours. I just happened to notice it later in the day and was able to fix it. They have it set up in such a strange way to add previous watches that you didn’t add at the time.

I understand the new flow feels slower for you. Are you using the web, Android, or iOS, and which steps are taking longer? Did you know you can pick any spot and then change the date manually like before? A concrete example of how you enter a watched date would help us identify what needs improving. Thanks!

Changing the date manually can be missed or confusing if your last watch was the previous day or earlier.

I’ve been using Web and iOS and entering a date is annoying as F***. I don’t want to chose a “place” where it belongs. I tried entering a date and time manually just a few minutes ago and it wouldn’t let me. I had to go onto my phone to do.

Popping windows are annoying. Clicking 15 million times to find info is annoying. Small text I can barely read is annoying.

Trakt (especially Web IMO) has basically become a hassle to use and did I mention, f***ing annoying?!
