If you click on Continue Watching in Home, then sort by anything other than the default, that should become the saved sorting back in Home instead of reverting back
I also think it would be feasible to sort by (total) episode duration, just like on the "Watchlist" screen.

As well as if you reverse the default sort order. I always had my Up Next page sorted by Oldest Watched, and now I have to manually do that every time. It’s very frustrating. And I feel like there were more sort options for Up Next as well.
